Super Visa
Super Visa is a special program developed by Canada Immigration to reunite families with their parents and Grand parents.
Under the Super Visa program immigration, Canadian citizens and permanent residents can bring their parents and grandparents to Canada as long-term visitors for a period of ten (10) years Visitor Visa
The applicants receive multiple-Entry Visa on their passport which allows them to enter and exit Canada any number of times in that ten-year period. Super Visa holder can stay up to stay up to maximum of two years after which they will need to exit and then enter Canada again.
Eligibility Criteria
The parent or grandparent applying for the Super Visa needs to meet all the requirements for a regular Visit Visa, and additional requirements include:
- Sponsor should be Permanent Resident & Canadian Citizen.
- Canadian sponsor has to meet the minimum income requirements (LICO).
- Health Insurance policy for 1 year for at least $100,000 CDN.
- Letter of commitment of financial support from their child or grandchild who is sponsoring.
- Have to go through a medical examination for immigration.
